CBC appears committed to developing independent work. They have a full web section at their site focused on Independent Producers ( http://www.cbc.ca/independentproducers/) within which you can locate information on pitching audio programming to CBC (http://www.cbc.ca/pitch/index.html?copy-comedy). Note that CBC indicates significant interest in developing ongoing series. In May, 2010, SFFaudio ran a story on the new BBC scifi offering, Backbencher (http://www.sffaudio.com/?p=19819). Has anyone "listening in" to these Comments attempted to pitch CBC or has more information about Radio 1 audio drama programs?
