Fifteen years after the dreadful unmaking of society in the pilot of The Cleansed, an older, more haggard John Prophet intrudes on the bucolic Refuge where David Brenner and Sam Miller have taken a band of civilians and soldiers to remake society. John's message will rock everything the Refuge has ever known - and resonates with Sam and David's beautiful daughter Maria.
