So I'm how should i say... New to the production of audio drama, and more importantly spreading them out via web site that of which I don't have. For me it all started with an idea then a sleepless night of wright one short that should last about ten minutes. I had most of the voices, still do, and can put it together no problem. What I am looking for is a way of distributing the work, some thing of a group for/of people doing the same and needing the same, people new to the field of course. Any ideas? Thank you.

Alexandra - Well, there are lots of groups that record radio drama even on an amateur level, and they're always looking for new voices. Try checking out http://www.audiodramatalk.com ... Get yourself a USB mic and learn the basics of audio editing, and either make yourself a demo or volunteer for some projects. Once you get some experience, you'll know more about what you want, what directors are looking for, and have some fun along the way!

I am a senior in high school and am considering a future career in voice acting and things of that nature. The more research I do the harder it is for me to find any answers. How does one get involved even at my age in this industry? I would love some help!

Thank you!

I am just learning about your exciting work. I teach at a community college in Florida and am producing a live radio play in collaboration with our on-campus NPR affiliate. Not sure where to start. Any suggestions?

Best,

Christine,

I'll grab your email and put you on the list for future voice actor announcements! You can also fill out the "Talent Hunt" form on the site. Thanks for your interest.

Best,
Fred
